WEI CHOONG LOO
Wei has 25 years of professional experience in top tier international accounting firms and investment banks. His main area of focus is origination, structuring and execution of debt-related transactions for listed companies and large local corporates. His areas of practice include debt advisory (Mergers and Acquisition and Debt Restructuring), investment banking (Loan Syndications & Structured Trade Export Finance) and debt portfolio management (Project Finance, Special Assets and Leverage Buy Out portfolios) covering the Asia Pacific Region. He speaks several Asian languages and dialects which is invaluable in today’s global economy. Wei enjoys driving classic cars, riding his bicycles and cooking for friends and families.
RONNIE CHIA
Ronnie has 20 years of merchant banking, corporate and structured finance experience complemented with 6 years in an international accounting firm and a diversified corporate. His experience on “both sides” puts him in a unique position to understand business objectives and requirements allowing him to formulate strategies and structure corporate/ financial requirements to drive businesses and deliver results. His experience and understanding of funding requirements allows Ronnie to analyse and deliver on the investment decision making process through a balanced risk reward approach. Ronnie enjoys British television dramas, takes long walks and is partial to a plate of good tasting fried rice.
LEON KOAY
Leon has more than 20 years of experience in banking, corporate, asset and structured finance, treasury and markets, developing things from scratch, handling difficult matters (and resolving them), and reading the fine print. He brings high energy and momentum to his interactions, is laser-focused on clients’ and stakeholders’ needs, and loves delivering a good solution. He has won multiple industry awards over the years for innovative structures and landmark transactions. Leon is a Star Wars fan, and enjoys the outdoors, camping and biking, and a good nasi lemak!
